Terms And Conditions
Sales
Engineered Manufacturing, LLC does not sell directly to the public. All inquires are referred
to members of the Distribution Network.
Minimum Advertised Pricing (MAP)
To ensure a level playing field for all Network Members, Engineered Manufacturing, LLC enforces
strict MAP pricing guidelines. Minimum Advertised Pricing denotes the lowest published price
that is allowed in any of the mediums described below. By accepting the appointment as a
Network Member, all members agree to honor the MAP pricing levels detailed in the price sheet
integral to this document. Minimum Advertised Pricing applies to print ads, websites and
direct mail.
Terms Of Purchase
F.O.B. point of origin. Payment by check, credit card or wire transfer. Net 30-day terms with
approved credit.
Purchase Orders
Send all purchase orders to Engineered Manufacturing, LLC in writing, referencing the correct
item or part number for each item ordered. Engineered Manufacturing, LLC fax number is
516-543-4273 or email to sales@engineered-manufacturing.com. If requested on the order,
we will gladly send an email confirmation. All order cancellations must be received in
writing before the item is shipped.
Multiple Order Purchase Discounts
All product orders within a product group will be cumulative within a thirty-day period for
best quantity pricing. Orders must ship within a thirty-day period to qualify. Quantity
pricing and retro discount will automatically be applied to the qualifying order(s). All
items in a product group may be combined for multiple unit pricing. All products can be
drop-shipped. A credit will be issued and may be applied towards future purchases.
Minimum Billing
Engineered Manufacturing, LLC has a $300.00 net minimum billing policy. Orders less than
the minimum will be accepted but must include a $25.00 handling fee listed as a line item
on the purchase order. Supplies or accessories may be ordered to avoid the handling fee.
Parts Order-General
Parts must be ordered using Engineered Manufacturing, LLC's part number. If available,
Engineered Manufacturing, LLC will provide a parts reference for free. Parts ordered
incorrectly which have not been installed are exchanged per policy governing returns.
Parts Order-Electrical Components
Electrical components are tested before leaving Engineered Manufacturing, LLC's facility.
Due to the risk of improper installation, Engineered Manufacturing, LLC will not credit
any claim of defect prior to inspecting the item in question.
Freight Damage
The freight industry generally requires the following actions in the event of freight damage.
As the terms of sale are FOB point of origin, it is the network member's responsibility to
advise their customers to note visible carton damage on the freight receipt and to file a
written claim. Concealed damage must be reported in writing to the freight company within
10 business days. Engineered Manufacturing, LLC's customer service department will upon
request provide assistance in the filing of freight claims.
Returns
A return for credit of opened/used product is not allowed.
In the event your customer purchases the wrong item or wants to return an item for any reason
other than a warranty issue, Network Members must resolve the issue directly with the customer.
For un-opened product or refused shipments, returns will be allowed under the following terms.
No merchandise will be accepted without written authorization from Engineered Manufacturing, LLC.
On any merchandise authorized for return that was correctly supplied and not used or installed,
a 20% handling fee will be charged to cover the cost of inspection and repacking (if required).
In addition to the restocking fee, if reconditioning is required, the net cost of such work
will be deducted from the credit issued. All returned merchandise must be shipped freight
charges prepaid and packaged in the original packaging. Products no longer manufactured in
their same form may not be returned for any reason other than warranty repair.
Shipping
All shipments are FOB point of origin. Shipping charges are added to Credit Card orders and
must be pre-paid with check orders or wire transfers unless prior arrangements are made
with Engineered Manufacturing, LLC. Currency machine shipping charges are billed as actual.
All other single item shipments are billed as the actual shipping costs plus a handling fee
of $15.00. Orders that qualify for best quantity pricing are not charged a handling fee.
Network Members may arrange for freight pickup on pre-paid or net terms orders by any Common
Carrier of choice.
